December 2013 Meeting #18

19 Dec 2013

Our new venue of the Vic proved popular with club members at our December meeting. The selling points of the venue included the quieter and more private room, good food and PowerPoint facilities.

Many thanks to Greg Madden, club founder, for enthusiastically hosting the last meeting of 2013.

The evening's speeches featured many resolutions... David Divita, who asked us to think outside the square on the "To cull, or not to cull" WA shark debate.

Michelle Naude encouraged a healthy scepticism about the "new year, new you" mantra.

David Clarke reflected on the success of his 2013 new year resolutions.

Anita Adhitya who ate, drank and embodied the character of Bilbo the hobbit.

And finally Dietmar Mazanetz, who explained how we could benefit by taking charge of our own superannuation.

Belinda attended as a guest to observe the meeting.
